The whole idea of using wood as a fuel is not very practical to anyone in these modern times however there are wood stoves in Edinburgh that are being used.
Since most people do not use wood anymore they feel that it is not a good source for generating heat and that using wood stoves is a very ancient idea. It is no shame to use a wood burning stove as an apparatus to heat your residence. People tend to forget how natural gas and electric heat tend to pinch their pockets. As compared to these, wood is a very cheap source for generating heat.
The cost of any electric heat can be different from city to city or even manufacturer to manufacturer however the cost of natural gas shall always be costlier and almost the same everywhere.
Day by day the costs of heating oils, natural gas and other similar heating fuels are rising and there is no possibility in the future as well for them to drop down. This is where the wood burning stoves or coal burning stoves come handy and for help.
The biggest benefit of a wood stove is that there is no necessity of burning only fire wood in the wood burning stoves you can also use any kind of dry wood and it takes care of heating on its own.
Since the idea of using wood as a fuel is considered to be ancient there is plenty of wood that you can use and it is easily available and that too at a very nominal cost.
